Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Global Partnerships is a global organization that manages Google’s relationships with millions of publishers and app developers to help them enhance and grow their business. We do this by driving broad cross-Google partnerships that transform industries and enabling publishers to monetize their inventory through Google’s suite of publisher platforms and monetization solutions for both Search and Display (e.g. DoubleClick for Publishers, AdSense, Ad Exchange, AdMob and Video).

Working closely with Partnerships leaders in APAC and your Strategy and Operations peers around the world, you will use your exceptional analytical and strategy skills to develop APAC wide strategies in one or more of our key verticals (News & Publishing, Broadcasters, Apps and Commerce). You will also apply your excellent communications and presentation skills to build support and commitment for these plans from local and global stakeholders and frontline teams. Finally, you will rely heavily on your operational skills and tenacity to align cross-functional teams and drive implementation and tracking of the key projects and agreements that will bring these plans to life.


* Develop a regional vertical strategy (aligned with global strategy) that is data driven and includes a compelling vision for Google’s role in evolving the industry in APAC.

* Research and manage a short list of critical APAC ‘vertical top partners’ and work with Partnerships teams to develop and maintain cross Google account plans and agreement propositions.

* Build strong cross-functional support for the vertical strategy and implementation plans (globally and in region) and drive execution including project management, tracking and reporting.

* Support vertical leaders to develop relationships with key industry bodies in APAC and rally cross Google teams for key industry events in order to embed Google into the industry narrative.

* Share industry specific insights across geographies and upskill APAC partnerships teams to confidently present broad, cross Google propositions to the most influential players in the industry.

Minimum qualifications

* BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or internet/media industry.

Preferred qualifications

* MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.

* Significant knowledge and experience in online media and one of our key verticals (e.g. News & Publishing, Broadcasters, Apps and Commerce).

* Demonstrated ability to present to and influence both senior executives and frontline teams.

* Extensive strategy, research, analysis and problem solving skills.

* Strong project management skills and ability to execute complex initiatives across teams.
